This baby gate extension is specifically designed for use with the Babasafe pressure-fit system, ensuring a secure and customized fit for wider openings.

Important Safety & Installation Information

✅ Secure Installation Required:

• Must be fitted between solid, rigid surfaces such as plasterboard, timber, brick, or metal. Never install on glass.

• Always use wall cups for added security.

• When applying adhesive wall cups, press firmly for 1 minute and allow the adhesive to set for 1 hour before fitting the gate. If movement occurs, use screws for reinforcement.

• Use the correct fixings for each surface type:

• Wood: Wooden screws

• Concrete: Multi-use plugs and concrete screws

• Plasterboard: Plasterboard wall plugs and screws

• Metal: Metal screws

✅ Extra Safety for Stairs:

• We do not recommend using a pressure-fit gate at the top of stairs. A screw-fit safety gate is a safer option for stairways.

• If using this gate at the top of stairs, always use screws in addition to adhesive wall cups for maximum stability.

✅ Regular Maintenance & Precautions:

• Check pressure before use. Ensure the gate is not loose and tighten it if necessary.

• Prevent accidental impact. Make older children and adults aware of the gate's position to avoid forceful collisions.

• Always verify the gate is fully closed after each use.

✅ Adhesive Pad Removal:

• The adhesive pads on this product are extra strong. If removal is necessary, apply heat (e.g., with a hairdryer) to soften the adhesive and prevent damage to the surface.

✅ Age & Usage Recommendations:

• Suitable for children aged 6 to 24 months, but stop use earlier if the child can climb over it.

• Automatic closing system: Do not allow children to swing or hang on the gate. Avoid trapping small fingers or limbs.

• Supervision is essential. Never leave children unattended near the gate.

• Do not place objects near the gate that children or pets can grab, as this may lead to falls or injuries.
