Here are some practical tips for using the new white version of our Baby Gate:
1. Creating Stability: While you can arrange the panels in a straight line, it's advisable to choose a size slightly longer than your actual space for larger openings. This allows you to create angles between each baby gate panel, providing greater stability, especially in the event of a heavy impact. This approach relieves pressure on the wall brackets and allows the gate to be freestanding. (Note: Fitting the gate to the wall is still necessary for full safety.)
2. Stair Safety: When using the gate at the top of stairs, be mindful of the potential trip hazard posed by the bottom bar for both adults and children. It's best to select a size that is positioned a safe distance back from the first step. Avoid gates with trip hazards at the top of the stairs; instead, opt for a gate large enough to section off the entire area, not just the stair opening.
3. Wall Plug Considerations: The included brackets come with general-purpose wall plugs. Depending on the surface where you intend to install the gate, you may need more suitable wall plugs. These should be purchased separately for secure installation.

Introducing the new white version of our Wall Brackets for the Multifit gate:
Anti-Climb Wall Brackets: Designed to prevent any foothold for climbing, our wall brackets for the Multifit gate are strategically positioned above the skirting towards the top of the gate. These brackets are exceptionally durable, capable of withstanding impacts from both adults and children.
Quick Release: Removal from the wall is a breeze with quick-release buttons. The cover of the wall bracket can also be slid off, leaving only the wall plate in place.
Extra Strong: Our wall brackets are 5cm deep, and the wall plates measure 4.5cm x 45cm. They start from 34cm from the floor and extend all the way to the top of the gate.
Fold Up & Put Away in Seconds:
When not in use, the gate can be easily folded up and stored. Thanks to the quick-release bracket system, it's a cinch to dismantle. Simply loosen the hinge locks and fold it up neatly for storage under a bed or in a cupboard.
Please note that not all configurations of our XL Baby gates will fold exactly like the photo above. In some cases, it may be necessary to dismantle the guard to fold it in the smallest way possible, which only takes a few seconds.
Baby-Proof Double Lock:
The gate portion of the Multifit features a childproof double locking system that secures the gate at the top and bottom. Yet, it's designed for easy adult operation with just one hand. Slide your thumb and lift to open.
