The latest iteration of the Babasafe Multifit Fireguard, released in November 2018, arrives virtually assembled and only requires wall mounting. This revamped model is significantly heavier than most other baby gates and fireguards. It now features an easy quick-release mechanism, a fold-up option, and a swing-shut gate function for everyday convenience.

Wall Brackets
Anti-Climb Wall Brackets: These brackets are cleverly designed to eliminate any foothold, ensuring that climbing hazards are avoided. Positioned above the skirting and towards the gate's top, these super-durable brackets can withstand impacts from both adults and children alike.
Quick Release: Removing the fireguard from the wall is a breeze with the quick-release buttons. The wall bracket's cover can also be slid off, leaving just the wall plate.
Extra Strong: The wall brackets have a depth of 5cm, while the wall plates measure 4.5cm x 45cm. They are fitted starting from 34cm from the floor and run all the way up to the top of the gate.
Fold Up and Put Away:
Quick Release & Fold Up. This gate features a baby-proof yet quick-release bracket system, making it incredibly easy to dismantle. Loosen the hinge locks and neatly fold it up for storage under a bed or in a cupboard. Please note that not all configurations will fold exactly as shown in the photo above. In some cases, a few seconds may be needed to dismantle the guard for the most compact folding.
Baby-Proof Double Lock:
Child-Proof Double Locking System: The gate section of the Multifit employs a childproof double locking system, securing the gate at both the top and bottom. However, it's easily operable with one hand by an adult. Simply slide your thumb and lift.
