We start early each morning at 7.30am to get orders packed and on the road quickly.
Status Update – MARCH 2026
Courier networks across the UK are experiencing pockets of seasonal delays, particularly with volume surges and processing backlogs. Initial tracking scans may also appear later than usual, especially for larger or bulkier parcels which require additional handling time in the network.
Rest assured: if you have received a dispatch notice from us, your order has been sent. It is already moving through the courier system, even if the first scan has not yet appeared.
Thank you for your patience while courier networks work through seasonal demand.

2. Dispatch & Transit
Our warehouse team begins work at 7.30am each morning to ensure fast turnaround.
Orders received before 10.00am (Monday–Friday) are usually dispatched the same day using Parcelforce tracked services.
Standard parcels typically arrive within 2–5 working days.
Extra-large items, such as baby gates and fireguards, may take up to 7 working days, depending on how quickly they pass through the courier’s bulk-item handling system.
Delivery times are estimated, not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, volume or routing outside our control.
Any extended dispatch times, such as pre-orders, will always be shown on the product page.
3. Delivery Cost
£4.99 flat rate — fully tracked and insured Parcelforce delivery.
Tracking details are issued automatically once your parcel leaves our warehouse.
You will receive updates when your order is:
- Dispatched
- Out for delivery
- Delivered

4. Missed Deliveries
If no one is home, Parcelforce will leave a delivery notice with instructions.
You may then:
Collect your parcel from the depot or collection point listed, or
Arrange redelivery at:
https://www.parcelforce.com/redelivery
If the parcel is not collected or redelivered within the timeframe set by Parcelforce, it may be returned to us.
A new £4.99 delivery charge applies if reshipping is requested.
5. Stock Availability, Pre-Orders & Delays
We aim to keep all products in stock. Occasionally, an item may be unavailable or damaged during picking.
If this occurs, we will contact you immediately so you can choose to:
- Wait for restock
- Receive a full refund
If your item is not currently in stock in our UK facility:
We may ship your order from our main warehouse, which can add a small amount of extra time.
This usually extends delivery by no more than 1–2 additional working days, and tracking will update as normal once dispatched.
Pre-Orders
Some products are available on pre-order when confirmed incoming stock is already on the way.
- Pre-order items display an Estimated Dispatch date on the product page
- The same estimate appears in your cart
- If the estimate moves by more than a day or two, we will email you with an update and offer a refund
In rare cases, a delay notice may follow shortly after ordering if an issue is discovered during packing.
6. Packaging
We use recyclable materials wherever possible and may use sturdy supplier boxes for larger items.
7. Delays, Lost Parcels & Liability
Once dispatched, parcels are in the care of Parcelforce and their partner networks.
If your parcel has not arrived within 7 working days, please contact us so we can begin an investigation.
Courier investigations may take up to 20 working days before a parcel is officially classed as lost.
If a parcel is confirmed lost, we will:
- Resend your order at no cost, or
- Provide a full refund including delivery
If tracking shows Delivered but your parcel has not arrived, it has usually been:
- Left in a safe place designated by the driver, or
- Accepted by a neighbour
If still not located, we will open an official delivery-confirmation investigation with Parcelforce (this may also take up to 20 working days).
Delivery charges are not refunded for courier delays, backlogs or missed delivery attempts.
Missing parcels must be reported within 30 days.
Chasing Up Orders
Once your parcel has been dispatched, it is in the care of Parcelforce.

We step in when:
- Tracking shows Delivered but the parcel has not been received
- Parcelforce confirms a parcel is lost
For all other delivery or routing queries, Parcelforce is the correct point of contact.
8. Terms & Conditions of Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates
- Delivery fees are not refunded for delays
- Fees are refunded only when a parcel is officially confirmed lost
- Parcels may be delivered to your address, a neighbour, or a safe place
- Courier investigations may take up to 20 working days
- Missing parcels must be reported within 30 days
Failed, Missed or Refused Deliveries
If a delivery attempt is missed, the courier will normally leave a calling card or issue a notification with instructions for redelivery or collection.
An Post parcels may be held at your local depot for collection for a limited time. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange redelivery or collect the parcel within the timeframe specified by An Post.
If a parcel is not collected from the An Post depot, is repeatedly missed, or is refused at the door, it will automatically be returned to us by the courier.
UPS deliveries that are not successfully completed after the permitted delivery attempts will also be returned to us.
Once the parcel is returned to our warehouse, you will be entitled to a refund for the goods. However, any return shipping charges imposed on us by the courier will be deducted from the refund amount. This includes costs incurred due to missed delivery, failure to collect, incorrect address details, or refusal of delivery.
Please note that original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.
We recommend monitoring your tracking information closely and responding promptly to courier notifications to avoid unnecessary delays and charges.
